DENVER - According to a report of Census data, Colorado has some of the lowest rates of poverty in the country. Colorado’s share of poverty in the population is 8.2% and is among the lowest states.
“Colorado has the 5th lowest poverty rate of any state in the nation. Our work to create good-paying jobs, attract businesses, improve access to quality education, and grow an economy that works for everyone is driving down poverty and increasing opportunities for all,” said Governor Jared Polis.
