DENVER - Today, Governor Polis appointed Michael T. Kotlarczyk to the 20th Judicial District Court. This appointment fills a vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Bruce D. Langer and is effective October 12, 2024. 

CARBONDALE - Today, Governor Polis visited the Meadowood Housing project, a completed 50-unit housing development built to address workforce housing needs for the staff of the Roaring Forks School District. 

“Building housing that Coloradans can afford, and is close to work for our educators helps our rural communities thrive and our students succeed. Meadowood Housing will provide better housing options that local educators can actually afford while saving them time and money on their commute,” said Governor Polis. 

BOULDER — Boulder, Colorado’s bid to host the Sundance Film Festival starting in 2027 has advanced to the final phase of the selection process. The Sundance Institute announced today that Boulder is one of the final cities under consideration. 

DENVER - Coloradans are closer to universal high-speed broadband coverage. Governor Polis and the Colorado Broadband Office (CBO) are excited to announce that Colorado is among the first states to open a state-managed grant program, Advance Colorado Broadband, to accept applications for this historic BEAD funding. 

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis celebrated that Colorado State University will be leaving the Mountain West Conference and joining the Pac-12 Conference. 

“PAC-12 football is back in Colorado! Colorado is known for our outstanding athletic achievements and talented student-athletes, and I am thrilled to celebrate our student athletes at Colorado State University who are bringing Colorado’s world-class academic and athletic success to the Pac-12 Conference. DENVER - Today, Governor Polis announced a panel to review applications and recommend finalists for the appointment of the new District Attorney for the 15th Judicial District (Baca, Cheyenne, Kiowa, and Prowers Counties). The vacancy for District Attorney in the 15th Judicial District was created by the resignation of District Attorney Joshua Vogel, effective October 4, 2024.
