Governor Polis Announces 150 Unique Colorado NFTs to Celebrate Colorado’s 150th Birthday

DENVER - Today, at the ETHDenver Conference, Governor Polis, in partnership with the Office of Economic Development and International Trade, announced the upcoming auction sale of 150 unique Colorado NFTs to celebrate Colorado’s 150th birthday and highlight the state’s growing and innovative digital economy. The auction will be live beginning on June 1st, 2026. The NFT sales are part of a greater statewide celebration with the The America 250 - Colorado 150 Commission, created by Governor Polis to inspire Coloradans from across the state to take part in commemorative events to celebrate Americas 250th birthday and Colorado's 150th birthday.


“Here in Colorado innovation is part of our code. We are growing our digital ecosystem and attracting more businesses to Colorado, creating good-paying jobs, and propelling us into a new era of innovation. Today I am excited to announce the launch of 150 Colorado NFTs, a unique way to highlight artists and celebrate our great state, creating a collectible digital footprint for generations to come,” said Governor Polis.  


Governor Polis also celebrated technological advancement and achievements at the Colorado Technology Association annual Tech Summit and APEX Awards. Governor Polis presented the Bob Newman Lifetime Achievement Award to David Cohen and Seth Levine for their leadership in driving technological innovation in Colorado and inspiring the next generation of forward thinkers.


Proceeds from the NFT purchases will go toward other America 250 - Colorado 150 commemorative efforts.
