DENVER - Today, Governor Polis and Lt. Governor Primavera wished all Coloradans a happy, joyful, and prosperous Thanksgiving with friends, family, and loved ones.

“Happy Thanksgiving Colorado! I wish every family a day full of joy, gratitude, and laughter tomorrow. This is a time for us to celebrate what we are thankful for with those who mean the most to us. Thanksgiving is also a time to give back to our community. I hope Coloradans who are able to, also give thanks by supporting those in our community who are in need. In Colorado we lift each other up. Happy Thanksgiving,” said Governor Polis.

Governor Polis recently volunteered and donated food to the Village Exchange Center.

“I am pleased to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a great time to come together and spend time with loved ones, take part in the season of giving and give thanks. I encourage everyone to get out into our community to give back to fellow Coloradans who are most in need and take a moment to keep in mind families who may have an empty seat at the table this year,” said Lt. Governor Primavera.

On Monday Lt. Governor Primavera served meals at the Denver Rescue Mission's thanksgiving event.
